It's eerily quiet. In the daytime the Izumi household looked colorful and friendly but in near pitch blackness the scattered toys could be considered creepy. Puzzle pieces, dolls, plastic tea sets, board games, you name it. The family was generally wealthy, leading to a generously sized house and nice equipment like flat-screen televisions just ready for the picking. The majority of it all seemed to pile up in one particular place however...
Haruka's room is large, almost the same size as their roomy living area. It looks more suited for a child than an adult. The boy lay curled up under his sheets next to his small Spinda and neither of them seem ready to wake up any time soon. A cane leans against the side table holding a roll of yarn and an excessively long scarf that trails off the edge and down to the end of the bed. The only source of light comes through the open window, shining moonlight through a large jar of paper stars perched on the windowsill.
