I'm a minor and I was recently hospitalized for borderline traits and suicidal behavior, I know I have severe mdd but they say I have bpd... I'm 14 and they're already thinking I have bpd Idk what to do?

What you need to do now really depends on your access to professional care (and probably how supportive your guardians are of letting you continue treatment). You may benefit from checking our FAQ and looking at different coping methods so you can start addressing some of your symptoms at home too!

If the hospital didn’t set you up in an outpatient program, consider talking to your guardians about seeing a therapist regularly who can treat your symptoms. You likely won’t be medicated at your age, since medicating anyone under 18 is dicey, but therapy can do a lot for you now and hopefully keep your symptoms from getting worse as you get older (which they will do if left untreated).

Being diagnosed with BPD at your age can be really scary, but remember that at 14, you are catching the symptoms early. Your symptoms are still fucking horrifying to deal with, I’m sure, but the sooner you start treating them, the better off you’ll be in the future! I know some doctors don’t like diagnosing teenagers, but it’s honestly so important to treat symptoms as early as possible. <3

I'm a Russian teenaged girl. I wear babushkas and everything too. I look up "Russian woman" on Google expecting to see Slavic folk clothing and pretty stuff. I saw models in swimsuits with the caption "Meet Hot Russian Women Online!!" I cried.

Pt2. And also people are afraid of me because I have a husky, Russian sounding voice and a slight accent. They ask me if I drink vodka all the time and wrestle bears for a living. It's horrible.

I get that people have a prejudice against you. I get that with my Hungarian side, our family was travelers, and they call us g*psy’s still. but that’s not racism. 

that’s just stereotypes and prejudices. not racism.  I don’t really know what you want us to say??
