The first trilogy 'Eisenhorn' is great but 'Ravenor' just completely hooked me in it's outstanding characters and narrative!

Not My Type | Alright | Cute | Adorable | Hot | Sexy | LORD MERCY

Carl isn't really the kind of guy who blows my skirt up...so to speak.  That said, I found him endearing and one of my biggest disappointments in the Ravenor trilogy is the shit sandwich he got served with.  I liked him in Thorn Wishes Talon as the fussy guy who runs counter to the traditional masculine ideal (not huge, not a gun expert, not a fighter) but knows his shit and can think outside the box (let's glue a grenade to the oncoming dreadnought).  Also a sharp dresser.  I liked his apparent repartee with Patience Kys and I wish we could have gotten more of that kind of thing.  Dammit, Dan.
