We’ve become a family, and that’s something that I wouldn’t trade for anything. I’m not from here, so I feel like I belong, and now I have a family, some people that I can trust and who can understand what is happening to me, and that’s wonderful. It’s just a big, loud family.
Acting, in general, makes me feel so free. With “Mayans M.C.,” I was able to express a part of me that I was not used to, which felt amazing.
I would tell any Latina to dream big, to know who they are as a woman and as an artist and to never doubt their beliefs and their integrity. Your talent can take you to the moon, you just have to be prepared and do good for your brothers and sisters. At some point, magic will happen for them too.
