yall as the resident carleau shipper im so happy to have more recruits!!! here are some of my personal hcs/thoughts about carter and marleau

• carleau is himbo4himbo, these two are the most kind hearted dumb boy!core to me. especially the scene where carter talks about how brave it is for shane's friend to be (allegedly) gay in russia

• i know my personal goat carter vaughan does NOT stand for homophobia in the lockerroom and depending on the severity of the comment will give a "hey now :/" or kill people with his mind beams

• marly is the same but deals with it differently and when any raiders try to say some shit he asks if they're compensating and they need to kiss him to prove they're not gay

• on that note cliff and ilya have for sure kissed. they are SO kissng the homies goodnight type of friends

• it takes marleau a while to figure out he's bi bc he has a job and can't really worry about that right now. i do think he knew he was bi before ilya came out

• it takes carter a while to figure he's bi because he just assumes he appreciates masculinity since he's surrounded by it. truly thought he was the worlds number 1 ally until he jokingly kissed a guy and realized it was Not a joke

• marleau would deff say hole is hole in regards to trans allyship and MEAN it

• they switch but i think cliff bottoms more

also i cant decide if in universe they'd be seeing each other when they'd play in the same town (not as long as hollanov and Actually casually) or if they hook up after the hollanov wedding bc in my mind carter attends and cliff is ilyas bestman
