Carlos knew how to take care of himself. He might not look it or act on it, but he knew it. He had scared a share of weirdos who tried to mess with him, living so out of the town and all. If that one tried to mess with him, he would teach a thing or two before sending him packing. But all in all, he didn't feel that energy from the boy. He could be wrong - sometimes he was. But Dorian gave him a good vibe, some good energy. And he was very good on the eyes too. Finally the door opened and the boy entered. "Ah, no, that's done." He pointed with his thumb to the back seat, where a couple of wooden boxes filled with veggies and other products stood. "Now I'm heading home. So no worries, I'll get you to rest before I make you do anything." He winked to the boy, patting his thigh before his hands were back on the wheel and the car was back on the road.
An almost empty road at that. Few cars passed on that way. And fewer still once he took a left and headed towards his place. The heat of the day made the A/C in the car work hard. Carlos shirt was opened a few buttons and the heat had made his skin moist there. "So, mind if I asking what are your hiking plans? Where are you off to? Or are you, like, running away from something?" His fingers tapped the wheel softly as he drove. The radio played a bad song, but Carlos had almost turned it off once Dorian was inside. The road was placed between trees that were thickening until they could only see green and once a small entrance appeared, Carlos turned again and drove very slowly. The line of trees passed and his house appeared among green fields of plantations on all sides. None were his. Only the garden in front. "Not a farm. Just a house." He made a movement with his hand as if to introduce it before he parked his car and let out a soft sigh. "Do you mind helping me carry all this stuff or are you tired now?"
