“How do you help your ex when their current boyfriend turns out to be a double agent?” Cal asked, leaning in closer to Carmen so that those around them couldn’t hear, though the news was all anyone seemed to be talking about anyway. “I feel kind of useless in all that has gone on.” // @carmenxflores
“You know, you come to me for advice about men, but then you’re couple costuming with said man only a few days later!” Rowan scolded, moving to sit down across the table in the dining hall from Carmen. She gave her an expectant look. “I think you’re much better with the male species than you allow yourself to think. Class ended and Aileen stood up, gathering her items and placing them into the saddle bag that she carried around to each of her classes. She glanced up at Carmen, calling out for her to wait a moment, and jogged up to meet her as she headed toward the exit. “Did you want to grab lunch?” she asked, offering the other a gentle smile. “I’m always so hungry after this class.” // @carmenxflores
