borderlands! also, whats the problem with battle network 5?

never played | want to play | terrible | boring | okay | good | great | a favorite

this actually only applies to Borderlands 2. I’m not super great at shooters but I did this one with a friend and it was fun to go through, get all the weird different weapons, and the villain character was amusing. haven’t played any others in the series, and now everyone seems to hate Gearbox.

as for Battle Network 5, I hated HATED the liberation missions. they were so unfun, and I feel like the game makes it hard to get decent chips early on. also I like how the series was like, Lan and Mega Man are basically fun loving kids getting caught up in the schemes of maniacs using the internet to do crime, but after 4 they were kind of Mary Sue’d and treated like superheroes. and now they’re leading a team of Net Battlers to combat Nebula or some shit... where are the police, you know?
