The route i picked up was a steep scrambly route with some rock climbing opportunities but it was pretty windy. Forgot to check the temperature as well which i will regret later.
Some good views of snowy mountains on the way up. You can see Tryfan, Pen Y Gader and Y Garn which i will do tomorrow.
At the top it was completely covered in snow with a strong wind. The cold wind really sapped your energy and i kept having to stop and eat. I was only wearing a thin jacket and shorts.
The rest of the walk was mainly along a flat ridge to the final peak. The cold was making me feel really faint and it felt like it was taking ages. After i reached the top i descended as fast as i could to get out the wind.
Walk down took ages as well. Then the next day me knees were fucked cos they got too cold. Mountain forecast said it was -7C with a -17C wind chill so gotta remember to check that in future.
