Something was on his mind and he wanted to talk about it but something was holding him back. “Na... never mind.” He seemed troubled as his hands were placed his in pockets, hunching over slightly with a bit of a frown.

He’d never seen anyone do what this girl had just done, not once in his entire life. He was absolutely stunned by it, to say the least, and would be negligent if he chose to go without making at least some mention of his admiration. She’d just finished that entire beef bowl, and looked like she was ready to try going for seconds. Even he had never managed to pull that off, and his own appetite was pretty solid to begin with. On top of that, she was cute. No wonder he felt himself drawn to her.

"Hey, Chie!" The Magician reached an arm up in a content wave, gesturing Chie to his side. He had called her up earlier to meet him after work, so that they could walk back to one of their places together. He said he had something special for her that she'd get when she got here. This was it! He picked a bag up and put it on the table, making sure his jacket was well and securely fastened as he did so. This surprise was not one he wanted spoiled by an errant breeze. He chuckled a little and gestured for her to sit down across from him. He then shoved the bag lightly towards her.
