Things didn't surprise her as much as they used to. When you've been through a lot, you tend to become a bit desensitised to it all. Murder...gore...the dark and dangerous deprivity of the world left her not really surprised by the weird and rarely wonderful things of the world. If anything, her experiences showed that life was indeed strange.

However, momennts like right now kinda made her a little lost for words as she looked at...well, she didn't really know what she was looking at. Maybe it was the whiskey from the shitty dive bar she was just at but she felt a mixture of confusion and fear.

he may have lost interest in him, but carnage still holds wesker's attention. ❝ well, i suppose i have far less visual interest, ❞ he replies dismissively, his calm demeanor unfazed by how dangerous he claims it is. no doubt he's probably not bluffing, though wesker acknowledges the creature without heightened concern. instead, it's curiosity.

I agree. The league are bad peeps. No doubt about it. But they are also HEAVILY traumatized peeps. Shigs with his dad and then AFO. Toga and her classist family. And we all know about the Todorokis. ( I don't think Enji should get a redemption arc. But that's just me). Point is : several heroes recognize this and are going to stop them. But not kill them.

~I don't recall Toga's family being classiest, maybe ableist to Toga when she literally could help herself because of her quirk. Plus the fact AFO basically just took them all in to turn into villains when what they needed was someone to just be there for them and actually care about them.

Of course, all of their actions are their own fault and are unforgivable, and they need to be stopped and receive punishment for their crimes. I just think people getting mad because they don't just fucking kill them are being silly, MHA is very much inspired by western comic book heroes and a lot of time the heroes they face some really fucked up villains but they try and at least reason with them before knocking their ass out. Hell, there was a Tumblr post praising how Batman was portrayed in the old 90's cartoon because he tried to help him villains compared to the run them over in the Batmobile Zack Snyder one.
