THRILLING isn't the word to describe what I'm feeling right now after receiving these pictures from Jean-Pierre Jeunet this morning of my Newborn (Alien: Resurrection) head sculpt on display along with various other miniatures made by fellow artists, Kazuhito Kimura, Dominique Roche and the director himself, Jean-Pierre Jeunet! So happy and thankful once again for the opportunity to contribute to a beautiful display full of brilliant work. I'm honored to be part of the CARO/JEUNET EXPO!!! If you're visiting Lyon, France before May 19, 2019, be sure to take some time to check out the Caro/Jeunet exhibit at the Musée Miniature et Cinéma and say hello to my little guy. Director Jean-Pierre Jeunet sent me an early Friday morning surprise taking some wonderful selfies with my Alien Newborn sculpt that will be on display starting this October at the Musée Miniature et Cinéma in Lyon, France. https://www.museeminiatureetcinema.fr/en/ It will be part of a miniature version of the Caro/Jeunet expo that is currently being shown at the Halle Saint Pierre in Paris, France. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wg8huVWi54c JP tells me the miniature expo will have over 150,000 visitors over its 6-month schedule. I'd hope sometime during those 6 months I may be able to make my way over and see it personally. It's an honour to have a piece on mine on display in a French museum, the only one in Europe. Jean-Pierre Jeunet confirmed yesterday that he received my Alien Newborn (Alien Resurrection) head sculpt!!!! He's very pleased with it thank goodness! He will be sending me a selfie or two with it later this week as he is traveling back to Paris currently. In the mean time, he sent me a few of his books, signed of course :) It's all in French but they are film production books jammed with imagery...i can manage :) #jeanpierrejeunet #aliennewborn #alienresurrection #carojeunet #miniatures
