Ugh. I feel so bad for Chappell. I wish I knew her personally so I could just give her the biggest hug and hype her up. Her meteoric rise to fame was warranted (shes talented af ok) and worrisome imho. Im so proud of her for setting boundaries in the public’s toxic environment and hope in private she is doing okay.

Getting high and listening to hozier is a religious experience

I just finished the last episode of sense8 and I am so happy, its bittersweet.

This was the first show that made me feel something after my car accident and a super depressive and ptsd ridden freshman year. It made me feel less alone, more accepting of myself, and helped me love my sensitive nature.

This show holds a special place in my heart ❤️

UUUUUGGHHHHHH

So, I’m a tiny female appearing person working and living around a big city. I live in a gated complex with a parking garage.

This morning my fiance is walking me to my car when he sees a $100 bill resting on my back windshield wiper. He immediately freaks out, grabs the bill and flips it over to see “Got Ya, Bitch!” On the back in sharpie and the text “movie prop” on it. Needless to say if thats all the prank was, its harmless.

However because we do not know the original intention of this supposed prank I now have to park on a different floor next to the security cameras and have my fiance escort me to and from my car.

If I ever find out who did this, its on sight.

I just finished a new book and I have never read a book so fast or cried so much in the last few chapters. Literally finishing the book with tears streaming down my face. This book just hit me so hard, and its soo good. Go read A Song to Drown Rivers by Ann Liang.

A confession of my dysfunction or everything thats stressing me out rn:

- my aunt dying of cancer

- planning my wedding in 6 months

- i need to do my annual wellness exam and go to the dentist and get a good psychiatrist here

- need to finish switching everything to this state

- need to finish a background check for work

Its all doable but its overwhelming at the same time. And my mom is using my wedding as an escapist tactic to distract from her dying sister (i dont blame her and i get it but jfc its more stress on me. I have more stress about my family nagging to me about my weddinng than i do actually planning it).

I used to live in St. Petersburg, FL, and was there for almost ten years. One thing you hear a lot, especially during hurricane season, is how blessed the area is with not being directly hit by major hurricanes due to the Native Americans of the area blessing the land or finding spiritual importance in the land that protected them from major disasters.

At first when I heard this I thought it was so cool. But it never sat right, because the Tocobaga Indians ceased being in the area hundreds of years before white settlers came and settled on their land and taking advantage of their blessing.

And I just feel like this blessing from them on the land has become moot bc we dont take care of the land or have a relationship with it like they did and we have turned our back to the numerous tribes we have decimated in the name of building our country.

Like I doubt the Tocobaga would be chill with a bunch of settlers taking advantage of their blessing after the genocide they committed to the natives of the land across the country.

Anywhoo theres another hurricane in the gulf projected to make a direct hit to St. Pete and after Helene I am worried for the people there bc its not gonna end well 😞

I’m so fucking upset. Tomorrow is the Mid-Autumn Festival and I really wanted to buy or make gluten-free mooncakes but then I had to run down to Jacksonville bc my uncle suddenly passed and my aunt was given days to live. I’m back home now but like crying bc my fiance got a mooncake from his coworker but he can eat gluten and I’m like so jealous 😭
