Update on Toga Himiko for any of you lovelies who care!!!
I have no control of my life. I attempted to catch something as it fell out of my side of the car. The car door decided it wanted to shut on my hand and did so. My life is a chronic series of bad luck with good luck sprinkled here and there.
My friend in cosmetology is beginning to scare me. She’s making lots of side comments. Apparently I look like a mushroom. So hopefully it’ll end well? Update: I looked like Molly when she was in the Breakfast Club. It looked nice and then the wind ruined it.
So I’ve been thinking about the past DND sessions recently. So this was our first time playing in a futuristic setting. There were three players at the time, Chyna played a grey alien named Zen, Josh used an old character of his(a dark elf named Ash), and I played a tree-like alien named Tevossa. Zen was a character that nobody will be forgetting for a long time. The aspect I want to focus on right now is the fact that he was inquisitive. Zen wanted to understand how everything worked, he needed to have all of the information. So because of this he would always dig around in everything. He would press for more information before going on a mission, he would spark up conversations with the crew about the oddest things. In the third or fourth session Zen found a message that only said Banissi. So naturally he decided to tug a little. Which seemed all right at first, but the DM was being kind of resistant to the idea. Not sensing this or just plain ignoring the fact Chyna continued to press on. A wild goose hunt of information later Zen found himself standing in front of the pilot’s door. Now the pilot was also a Cannis(that was the name that Chyna created for the race) his name was Den. Den was very monotonous about everything. Nobody really talked to Den, he just kind of made everyone feel uncomfortable. The only one who really interacted with him a lot would be Reina an NPC soldier who was his co-pilot. So Zen eventually enters the room which is very small. There’s a bed in the middle a small bookshelf, and a closet that also doubles as a shower. The room is empty except for the furniture, there’s a bit of dust that’s started to build up. It’s as if nobody has even entered this room yet. The best thing to compare the door to is probably the doors in Mass Effect. So this door shuts and locks, but for some reason Zen can’t hack the door. I can't remember if it was just too hard or if it wasn't attempted Now about this time the music we had in the background went from happy background music to very eerie music. I believe at this point Zen just sort of sat down on the bed and tried to figure out how to get out. A few seconds after he sat down a video was transmitted to him. The video was very grainy would be the best word to describe it. The only thing that could be seen through the constant static was piercing red eyes. Now would be the best time to mention that Cannis have eye colors that correspond to their jobs. Zen being a scientist had blue eyes, Den being a pilot had red eyes. Den just watches Zen for a while, but eventually it gets harder for Zen to even breathe. Being in control of the entire ship Den now has Zen locked in his room and he is slowly draining the oxygen. As he’s doing this he keeps repeating things like, “Tell us what you know”, “You called?”, “We are here”, “We are Banissi.”. Zen is of course freaking out trying to figure out how to react, I think eventually Ash managed to break open the door. A little while after our ship was just coincidentally attacked, and we just coincidentally had someone die in the cargo hold. Which also led to the crew starting a mutiny and hunting us to kill us all. The campaign sort of ended a little after this all happened because the information wasn't supposed to come for like another eight sessions. But hey if this is something you enjoyed to read and you want more, I'll post more. Or I'll just end up posting more anyway, I don't really know. There's so many more stories I could tell.
