#Steampunk ‘pew pews’ #contest time post. Contest description at end of post. Please note that due to a personal situation the contest deadline has been extended: We have made so many steampunk pistols and such, our minds tend to get away with us. We started nick naming them pew pews because that’s what the sound makes us think of. Whether we have created them non sound and lights or with classic firing sounds and trigger happy LEDs, people like them as much as we like making them. They tend to range from $40-$300 Contest info: Due to some personal things that need to take priority (Martin’s father is in his 90s and in hospital) the contest draw date won’t be until November 23. The prize will be a choice of an item from ones posted here or based on ones posted here. If the item you chose is expensive to mail, we will ask for you to pitch in for shipping. Now on to the rest of the info..... We will be assessing previous items that were on our #etsy store that we can make from our apartment location. Reason is that the move back to #Toronto has left us without a full workshop but we want to reopen the @etsy store. Much was left behind in BC so we have to repurchase materials and build from our workspace in our apartment so we want you to help us be wise. We will random draw (for one of the items listed in this contest) by 11:45 pm (EST) November 14. One entry for each of the following: 1. Follows/page likes and comments. Everything from simple none operational (just the hilt for #cosplay decoration) to basic sound boards and LEDs to high end LEDs, blades and boards, we have always enjoyed making these. #contest time post. Contest description at end of post: These are our little ‘mechcanary’ #steampunk birds. At $75-$130 Canadian they were fairly popular in the store. The biggest challenge to reintroducing them to the store is finding the base birds again, but they were an absolute delight to make.
