Hello, lovely Luna. How was your Valentine's Day?

ah i didn’t do much! i mainly spend the day working and facetiming friends to work with (and i basically sat at my desk all day lmao) but it was lovely to spend the day with people who care about me and vice versa even if it was work related! 

but!! but i’m doing a face mask tonight and i think (if i finish this reading) i’ll treat myself to watching a movie while painting my nails as a belated valentine’s day treat yourself day! how was yours? i hope you found some time to treat yourself!

My problem with Katang is the age difference. like I know there's an age difference between Katara and Zuko too but Katara's so mature for her age and Aang is so immature, Zutara feels less age gappy than Katang.

yeah watching the first couple of seasons over again i was in awe at how motherly/parental katara was with aang and idk even when i watched the series as a kid there was something about the k*taang that just made me uncomfortable. but hey if people like the pairing they like the pairing 🤷‍♀️ it is canon after all

personally, i just thought zutara flowed a lot better on the show and that their relationship was much more balanced instead of one character taking on a parental/authoritative role. even taang seemed more balanced to me than k*taang. just my opinion tho

earth and centaurus

i don’t remember the ask game that i had going for this!!! didn’t see this bc tumblr mobile hates me 

however, have a few little facts about each! 

earth: due to the amount of water covering our surface, earth is likely one of the prettiest and shiniest planets to spot from outside of our solar system! aliens see us shining like a diamond due to water’s reflective properties  a little less dazzling fact: although it is incredibly uncommon for a large meteor to survive in the earth’s atmosphere to become a meteorite--it isn’t uncommon for a very, very small one to. it’s actually so common that there is a belief that 1 in 17 people actually have meteorites imbedded in them, so many people actually have more “space dust” than others 

Centaurus: centaurus is, ofc, the fifth brightest constellation, housing two of the top ten brightest stars in our skies <3  it is also the home of alpha centauri, our closest stellar neighbor which, unlike some other bright stars, can be seen in both the northern and southern hemispheres almost year round <3333

have you giffed the "I forgive you" scene from Cinderella 2015? It's one of my FAVORITES. She takes all this abuse and she's so much stronger than all of it so she just lets them go and like...GOALS MUCH?

yes i have!!! ella is my absolute icon, i love that scene so much!!!!

she has spent years in that house, suffering, trying to keep the memories of her parents alive, trying to remain happy and good. she falls in love and finally realizes that she doesn’t need to live in her memories anymore, that she can leave the house and find joy with other people.

but she can’t hold a grudge, she can’t be like lady tremaine who hated her and the memory of her mother. she is not going to let the cycle repeat, so she forgives her, so she!!! can move on!! ella forgives lady tremaine because its the best thing she can do for herself.
