As women's history month draws to a close, I want to dedicate this #tbt to the great Black women artists who have paved the way for me and my peers throughout the diaspora. We salute visual and literary artist, Barbara Chase-Riboud (Born in Philadelphia, 1939). I had the pleasure of meeting her at Carrie Mae Weems amazing weekend of events #CarrieMaeWeemsLive at the @guggenheim in 2014.
