Could you describe the brief appearances of Kuroo and Kenma? Did they look very similar to the manga? How was the v-ball commercial and Kenma's scene with the ipad?
Full answer under the Read More~
Appearance-wise, they definitely look like what we saw in the manga. Time-skip Kenma had the longer hair with the blond tips and all. Kuroo looks basically the same except his hair is a bit shorter, so they didn’t really bother making Kuroo look all that different, and that’s fair lol. I’m sure his wig is a headache and a half to begin with. Since that Kenma only appears as a projection and the stream I saw was full-stage view and had no close-ups, it’s a little harder to see the details in the projected appearances, but he has a Bouncing Ball hoodie and his Nekoma pants.
Basically, instead of having Kenma be at his home watching Hinata’s game, he’s there in-person at the Jackals vs Adlers game. Before the game starts, Hinata gives him a souvenir from Brazil (that he doesn’t really want lol), then thanks him for sponsoring him in Brazil, etc... It’s while he’s talking to Hinata that Kuroo walks up, calling him “the world-famous Kodzuken.” This is when Kuroo basically grabs both Kenma and Hinata to say that they should all collaboration on a project. It’s kind of funny since he can very obviously grab Kenma in the projection, but he can’t actually grab Hinata, so Daigo just has to get close and crouch as if they were all there.
Kenma walks away first, and Kuroo chases after him, calling his name and saying he’s gonna go over to his house lolololol.
Kuroo’s V-League commercial is basically our cue for the timeskip. Before that, there are shadow projections to let us know that Hinata was in Brazil, but then the V-league commercial basically takes us to the Sendai gymnasium where the Jackals vs Adlers match is happening. Yachi, Yamaguchi, and Tsukishima are entering the gym when they see Kuroo’s commercial up on the big screens. As he presents a graphic for the Adlers vs Jackals match, Yachi says that she provided the graphic designs for the commercial! And of course, since he’s Kuroo, he has to do his dramatic signature snap to introduce himself.
Kenma’s scene where he gives the ipad to Hinata is very very short. He’s only there after Hinata reappears in his scarf and jacket to say that he’s there to cheer him up, and to loan him his tablet. It’s a few seconds at most, so there’s not too much I can say there.
