everyone's posting their perinor headcanons so here's mine
(a lot of these aren't actually abt their relationship but more them separately and how I picture them as characters)
PERI:
◇ appearance-wise I usually picture him as brown with curly hair. for build, he's athletic. not lanky but not ripped
◇ the second shortest on the ship (second only to king odysseus of ithaca himself. though. perimedes is 5'4 in freedom units/137 cm and I stand by it)
◇ he's biromantic, demiromantic and sex-repulsed asexual but he makes a lot of dirty jokes (the second part is NOT projecting, I say as I go to hide in my hole)
◇ he didn't realize that he liked guys until abt the middle of the war when he'd jokingly be like "love you man. no homo tho bc ts gay and I'm not gay" to elpenor but then he had the realization that he was biromantic
◇ he was slightly younger than elpenor and was probably the youngest out of the crew
◇ he had a really close bond with eurylochus and they got closer after polites died
◇ he was also kinda close with polites too (they dated for a week during wartime bc I love past peripoli)
◇ he had a dagger and had a habit of sharpening it while being angsty (I basically invented this concept everyone bow down to me)
◇ he had a bunch of siblings growing up and was the "extra child" in his family (probably one of the youngest)
◇ he loved collecting random things. he trapped bugs and collected pebbles and he actually met elpenor when Elp caught a butterfly he had his eye on
◇ his family didn't really care what he did so he often slept in the forest to avoid them as a kid
◇ he also loved carving things out of wood (he probably carved elpenor a LOT)
◇ a really fast runner
◇ polites taught him how to crochet and the first thing peri made was a beanie when he was 12 for elpenor so he can stuff his hair in it (afabs know what I'm talking about)
◇ cried for the first time in front of the crew in the underworld
ELPENOR:
♧ appearance wise, I picture him being pale as FUCK and ginger. I usually picture him with short and straight hair (unlike him) that was super long before one if the crew members cut it for him. as for his build, I'm pretty sure chubby elpenor is also accepted throughout the entire fandom. also the kind of blue eyes that pierce through your chest and into your soul
♧ he used to be shorter than Peri but then had a massive growth spurt and was taller for the rest of his life
♧ he was also one of the tallest on the ship (probably around 6'3 in freedom units/192 cm in my head)
♧ he's omni and transmasc. I'm sorry. I don't make the rules. transmasc elpenor is a thing that is almost fully accept through the entire fandom.
♧ he grew up the youngest child with two sisters and his single mother who was probably super sweet
♧ he had a bunch of friends as a kid and was really social but was always the forgettable friend (those who know, know) so the last thing he wanted was to be remembered
♧ also liked collecting random things he saw when walking around (again, how he met peri)
♧ was a medic (llotus said this and I fw it so hard like it's not even real)
♧ cries over the smallest things when he's drunk. also clingy when drunk.
