Carson was the first male sub in three generations born to the Daniels family, and that wasn’t a good thing. His father had been one of three sons, all dominants, and their sons, his cousins, were all declared dominant after testings in puberty as well. Carson, on the other hand, was certainly not. He’d often been teased for it growing up, and both his fathers and uncles had, more than once, tried to force or teach him how to be more dominating in his life, but only succeeded in destroying his self esteem, and sending him running into the arms of the entirely female range of submissives in his life. The genetics tests had been more of a formality than anything, and almost as soon as the tests had been delivered, he was packing his things and sent to live with his oldest, most distant cousin to finish high school.
Living with Liam had, somehow, been wonderful, he’d discovered shortly after arriving. The man had always stuck out simply for being the kindest of his male cousins growing up, and then for the fact that he’d moved out and never returned for any family occasions the day after he’d graduated high school. Discovering that he’d bene a switch, not a dom, had been a revelation, and the older male was responsible for much of Carsons current thoughts on submission and domination, and for the measure of self esteem and backbone he’d managed to build in the last two years. And, entering university, he’d needed it, campus life having been a shock to the system in the first two weeks he’d been there. Having gone from a life where his submission was hidden most of the time, to being in a place where it was expected, was disorienting, and Carson couldn’t help but be hopeful for the semester long group projects that had been announced in one of the required freshman courses. Each sub paired with a dom as the two learned over the semester, with a test of how far they’d come at the end. The announcement of pairs had taken almost the entire hour, considering the fact that it was almost a fourth of the incoming freshman in their class, and Carson was one of the last few to be paired up, seeing as they were going by the dominant students last names. Indeed, by the time they were paired up, there were only a few minutes left, and the professors quickly rushed through the remaining pairs before dismissing the class. Suddenly nervous, Carson turned towards his partner, giving her a soft smile. “So, I’m Carson, but you probably already knew that. Should we uh- do you have a class after this? We could go down to the student center and talk about this if you wanted” // @thcblackrosc
