Jealous!Emma is a rare sight. She's secure in their relationship and Julian doesn't care about attention from other girls and being demisexual, he's not attracted to them anyways.
Now that he is older and significantly more handsome, girls are suddenly paying more attention to him and Emma was noticing them more and more.
Most Shadowhunters know the story of what happened with them: it was legend come to life. So when they get a visitor at the institute who openly flirts with Julian.... The entire institute holds their breath. Even Tavvy doesn't miss the darkening of Emma's eyes when the girl touches Julian on the arm several times in one minute and laughs a little too much.
Julian just kind of brushes it off as the girl having a crush so he doesn't flat out ask her to stop but rather removes himself from her in a casual but firm manner. He steps out of the girl's reach, always is talking about all the amazing things that Emma can do and how much he is in love with her. He doesn't have eyes for anyone else but he is growing steadily more amused by the open aggravation on Emma's face.
Not to mention that it's lowkey a turn on for her to become so outright possessive and it shows later that night in the bedroom when Julian huskily whispers in her ear. "You have nothing to worry about, babe. I'm all yours" which resulted in Emma pushing him down onto the bed, demanding that he say it again and he does-- over and over just for her to hear and just when they are about to get down to business, they hear a knock at the door.
The girl manages to interrupt them in an intimate position in a running streak of 4 times, her sweet voice floating through the crack under their bedroom door asking if Julian could please show her how to use the crossbow just one more time. Julian, can you help me with this manuever. Julian-
Emma is going insane. She feels ridiculous for being jealous especially with Julian who has been firm about showing the girl that he's not interested but dear god it's become so hard not to plan her murder.
It goes on for a week until the Shadowhunter girl takes it just one step too far and puts her hand on his thigh after sitting down beside of him for a meal and all hell broke loose.
Emma had might have thrown a dinner knife at her from the doorway to the dining room and was shouting. Aline and Helen were trying to control the chaos. Of course, Julian had immediately stood up and taken her hand off of him in outright horror, but the damage was done and Emma was already swinging.
Dru and Ty did not help matters by chanting Emma's name in encouragement
Dinner ended with half of the plates broken and Julian bodily lifting a struggling Emma and carrying her out while Mark did the same with the other girl.
