If he had the chance to do it again, he would in a heartbeat.
SOME THINGS ABOUT CARTER:
Carter grew up in a loving family with great siblings and the chance to be successful in life. Sure, he had thought the world of his parents, especially his mother. He would agree that he is his mother’s son, but he knew that his father would prefer if he was more like him. Sure, Carter would sometimes look up to his father, something about being a great husband and a great family man. However, that had changed over time when Russell showed his true colors to Carter one day at the country club. They were playing a round of golf, when Carter noticed how his father had a wondering eye and it made his blood boil. Carter confronted him in the car, something about how could he do that to his mother, but Russell told Carter that he didn’t know what he was talking about. That day had changed things between Carter and Russell, and Carter and his family.
One day, Carter came home from school to find some well dressed men in his living room and asked his parents what was going on. Judy was nowhere in sight, which confused Carter. He tried to question it, but Russel brushed it off with the fact that she was probably drunk and passed out somewhere in the house. By the end of the visit, Carter’s bags were packed, and he couldn’t protest. He didn’t want to leave Jason behind, since he was close to Jason. The first couple of months at being at the boarding school, killed Carter and could feel his creativity die by each second of the day. He didn’t know what he could do, to get back home and be there to protect Jason, though. He made sure to send Jason certain things in the mail, to make sure he didn’t stop thinking that he had stopped thinking about Jason.
After a few months, he had enough. He packed his bags, tossed them all out the window before he lit a match. To him, it was quite simple to get the fire started, to say it was quite smooth landing, would be an understatement. He left the building with everyone and stood around before they loaded up the buses to send them to a nearby hotel. With that, Carter Fabray headed back to Lima and wanted to mess up his father’s life.
Once he got back, he made sure to become basically everything Russell hated and loathed until he graduated from high school. The day Carter had saved up enough money, said goodbye to the strict household he once knew and moved to Seattle, where he made a new life for himself. There he got his business degree, his love of everything comics and pop culture grew. The minute he had enough money saved up, he bought a building downtown Lima and moved back. He has been back for two years and he hopes that his house can be a safe haven for those who need it.
