The funniest possible scenario for a crossover between all the riordanverse first person perspective protagonists would be a meeting where everyone just assumes they’re the sole main character for this newest installation to the series.

Everyone is making fourth wall breaking narration thinking that they’re the only one with this ability, and halfway through a monologue someone catches on and is like “wait.. you can see the audience too?”

And this is after forty minutes of genre flipping between Percy staring at the camera sarcastically like he’s in The Office, Carter and Sadie spectating scenes like sports commentators off screen somewhere, an omniscient Magnus popping into the right hand corner like a twitch streamer every five minutes with an active Valhalla chat taking up the other half of the screen, and hard cuts to Lester in a reality tv confessional booth straight up gossiping entirely unfiltered.

It would be completely unwatchable and I need it to happen so very badly.

The Egyptian pantheon- We don't have prophecies per say, but we have people who can see into the future, which are also super rare.

The Norse pantheon- We have like one prophecy and everyone is trying to make sure that it reaches to a satisfying conclusion.

The Greek and Roman pantheons- That's the 4th fucking prophecy today for Gods' sake.

Percy: And you're sure that the Egyptian guys will help us.

Sadie: Of course. Car-

Carter: We just need to plead our case to the Pharaoh. Once we have his support, the Magicians of the House of Life and the Egyptian Pantheon will help us.

Annabeth: It can't be that easy.

The group arrives at the pharaoh's throne room.

Sadie: Alright, we're here.

Percy: Um, but nobody else is here.

Sadie: The Pharaoh is a really busy man.

Annabeth: When can we expect him to come see us?

Carter walks up to the Pharaoh's throne and sits down

Carter: Greetings, demigods. I, Carter Kane, Eye of Horus and current ruling pharaoh, have reviewed your case and you will be pleased to hear that you will have the support of the House of Life and its gods.

Percy + Annabeth: ...

Sadie: Trying not to laugh. Super proud of her brother.
