Mathias didn’t bother responding back to Carter’s text. He didn’t have the motivation to say anything, and would just wait until the guard showed up. Being outside of the suite and talking to people didn’t appeal to the necromancer anymore. He just wanted to sleep and hide forever. 

When he heard Carter at the door, he yelled for him to com in. Mathias was bundled up on the couch in several blankets, and a large sweater. He did manage a smile for Carter when he walked in though, “Hi”.

[Text]: I’m sorry the number you’re trying to reach is dick deep in someone right now

[Text]: Maybe text someone else? Or at least wait?

Mathias smiled as he felt Carter’s arms wrap around his waist. He was glad the other seemed to appreciate the view and the food. The necromancer leaned back against the guard and chuckled, “I hope you’re hungry”. He lowered the fire on the stove, then put a lib on the pot of soup he was cooking. He turned in Carter’s arms so he was facing him and put his arms around his neck, “Hope you don’t mind that I borrowed a shirt. Mine wasn’t very comfortable, but yours looked super comfy. I couldn’t resist”.

Cats!

Mathias smiled at the text he received and went to go gather what he needed. He was excited to see the kittens, but he was still a little weary. Mathias didn’t have the best track record when it came to living animals, most of them were scared or they tried to bite him. He couldn’t be angry though, he probably gave off an aura of death. He put the warmed milk in a bottle and went to where Carter told him the kittens would be. When he spotted the guard he waved at him then walked over, “Hi! I got the milk, where are the cats? How are you?”

Hurt

Mathias practically ran to Carter’s place. He was very worried about the guard, even more so now than he was the last time. He opened his door and walked in straight to the gargoyle. “What’s going on Carter? Why are you acting so strange?” He hoped the other was hurt or dying. The last they spoke, he talked about his mate not wanting him anymore. While Mathias didn’t fully understand, he could tell Carter was hurt by it.

Brownies

Mathias had a gut feeling that he should visit Carter. For some reason, he could feel it in the air that something was wrong, so he even baked a batch of brownies for the guard. He put on a warm sweater and some soft shorts and went to the other’s suite. He knocked a few times before calling out, “Hey, Carter? It’s me, I brought you something”.
