Man, so I was busy and away from Tumblr for a large portion of Saturday, so I completely missed the fact that a new chapter of My Sister's Mistress had gone up. I just finished reading it, and I have to say, it might be my new favorite. I think it may have even turned me on to some new fetishes, at a point when I'd pretty much assumed for a while that I knew what I liked and what I didn't.

I don't know how, but every chapter has gotten better and better, and it was already one of the best smut fics this fandom has by like chapter 3.  It's getting sexier and more emotional at the same time. At this point, I end each new chapter with damp eyes and flushed cheeks, even though those seem like they would be at odds with each other. 

Forkanna and Cartesian, I don't know how you're doing it, but keep it up! I'm with ya till the end of the line.

journal #2 I think i fail the 1st periodical test in math i don't know if I study enough or I was just lazy i feel bad about that! I hope I can do better next time sir hired told me to study more and don't give up! And I will I have answered some of the problems but the problem get back to me. I don't know how to answer the connect the dots it was hard. But nothing is hard if I study I learned that if I study i little everyday or more. Then I can answer that! If my classmates can do it why not me. I find math hard but i like to learn and to know it.

Man, though, I want to talk about My Sister's Mistressby Jessica X and Cartesian Planeswalker for a minute because I fucking adore it, and I need to give it some props. 

If it were simply a really good, smutty kink fic, that would already be worth celebrating, but it's more than that: while this is a fic where the kinks are varied, hot,  wonderfully well-depicted, and present throughout the story, it's also a phenomenal character study for both Elsa and Anna. 

This is because all that smut (while still being enjoyable and sexy on its own) really serves to illuminate character, as Elsa and Anna allow their numerous, complicated emotions to manifest in the things they do to each other while concealed in Anna's soundproofed bedroom. I'm often not a big fan of plots where one of them has to marry a foreign nobleman for the good of the realm, but I love it here. I love how the heightened emotions of the scenario push them both forward, and I love how honest it feels in its exploration of their thoughts and feelings. The authors have done a great job of rooting their story in the canon versions of the characters, so even (and perhaps especially) when they end up in extreme situations, the characterizations are the thing that shine through the brightest. It's so good it makes me weak in the knees, and as long as you have a stomach for the stuff it depicts, I can't recommend it highly enough.

(NOTE: This is a kink fic,and some of it could be extremely triggering. However, the authors have done a great job of extensively detailing what kinks you'll find in each chapter, so if something does sound like it would be too much for you, it's easily skippable.)
