It’s so weird when people are like “why do you think this character is trans??? That makes no sense!”

As if the point is that it makes sense if they’re trans

There are two reasons why someone would headcanon a character as trans;

This character would make a ton of sense if they were trans. It just sits right.

I relate to this character they are very gender

Characters like PV fall into the latter category. Why do people like saying he’s trans? Because they like him and they wish there was more trans representation in media. And I feel that. They say he’s trans because they just like the idea of seeing themself in a character like that.

And yeah it makes no sense, he has a biological kid with a cis woman, but that’s not the point. The point is he wears eyeliner and he’s unapologetically himself (in regards to appearance) and he wears high heels and he has a deep-ass voice and he is literally the walking definition of gender euphoria

I may not headcanon PV as trans but I feel an obligation to explain and defend my fellow trans people who might. People don’t seem to understand things like this too well or think it’s weird, so here’s the insight.

Don’t spit on trans headcanons, they’re not shallow like that.
