If P.K.O. gets Monday through Wednesday (if I remember correctly) and K.O. gets Thursday through Friday then how do they deal with the school situation? Are they treated as two separate students by the school and are given different grades and stuff or are the teachers unaware of their weird situation?
Miss Quantum and Mr. Claus are fully aware of the "sharing a body" thing! It took some off-screen finagling on Carol's part, but K.O. and P.K.O. are enrolled separately, each with attendance accommodations. Since P.K.O. learns everything K.O. does, and K.O. is diligent enough to keep up with P.K.O.'s classwork, they share the workload, though they probably do have a test time accommodation so that they can take exams separately to make sure they're both on-pace.
All this said, yes, that does mean T.K.O. is academically falling behind, technically. While he's got the benefit of being naturally inclined towards math and the like (to his ongoing disgust), he isn't formally enrolled, and actively resists class participation outside of emergencies and special circumstances. Carol helps him at home so he doesn't fall behind, but he skips out on his lessons whenever he can get away with it haha
(Disclaimer: I don't know what school enrollment requirements nor the process look like, so I'm playing it loosey-goosey with what that process is like at LPT for simplicity and my own sanity)
fun fact: when you return your defected robots they get burned alive
