Vico Magistretti Two-Piece Carving Set 1980
Carve that fine roast of beef, or Thanksgiving turkey with style.
I’ve started making an effort for Friday night dinners; Dan is usually back from his work travels and Saturday is my rest day so I don’t have to worry about a drink or two making me sluggish for a workout.
On today’s menu, roast veal (an experimental purchase), blue cheese and garlic scalloped potatoes (a tried and tested side) and asparagus (not pictured) with an Oregon Pinot Noir. Cheesecake with roasted strawberries followed.
I “rescued” the carving set from my mother who wasn’t really using it.
(I ran 8 miles today, my longest run since August 2015. Training recap for the last two weeks to follow over the weekend.)

Forgecraft Cutlery Set Carving set 5 Piece cutlery set, 4 knives and one carving/serving fork. Comes with a mountable wooden case. The knives and fork are in perfect condition as they were always on display and never used, which you can see clearly in the photos. The set is Forgecraft by Washington Forge with a Fleetwood handle that’s designed not to burn chip or stain, largest knife is about 12 1/2 inches long and smallest is about 6 1/2 inches long in total. Would be a great gangling piece but an even better totally functional knife set. http://nemb.it/p/4=xTTgos7/tumblr
