I forgot what a rollercoaster niggles can be. I took 12 days off running and that didn’t lead to any improvement in my foot niggles (which didn’t actually niggle while running) so I started running again with a run every other day.
While things weren’t getting worse they also weren’t getting better so I made myself a physio appointment and went to that earlier this week. Well of course I came away with no real diagnosis and the stuff the physio did made the issue worse! On Wednesday I went for a run (after physio on Tuesday) and felt the niggle while running - totally frustrating and I turned around and came home rather sad.
I took Thursday completely off exercise, only lifted yesterday, and then went out on a little trot today. It was niggle free! It was also warm/humid enough for bare arms and legs. Maybe better weather is the key to being niggle free?
Anyway, both the physio and my massage guy seem to think it’s a nerve being irritated by something so we’ll keep trucking away and hopefully I’ll be niggle free soon.
