I think I'll answer this for Bryn and Caryndil (cus I'm lazy)

04:Would you let a hostage die in order to catch the criminal, or save the hostage and let the criminal get away?

Whereas Caryndil is ruthless and would let the hostage die, Brynjulfur would first of all save the hostage before attempting to go after the criminal.

06:If you had time to disarm only one of two missiles, would you disarm the one aimed at a civilian colony or the one aimed at a vital military base?

Again, the two would do the complete opposite. Caryndil would save the military base, whereas Bryn would save the colony.

07:If you were about to kill your mortal enemy, and their child appeared to beg for their parent's life, would you spare your enemy?

This one is different, because they would both ignore the child. But Brynjulfur would be nicer about it,  sending the child away, versus Caryndil whom would make an example out of the child's parent right before them.

09:Would you steal from a wealthy corporation if it wouldn't affect any individual?

Brynjulfur would, but Caryndil believes that it is things such as these corporations which hold empires and kingdoms together.

(From Naniriel, she's baaack:) "Master Caryndil!", rang the familiar voice from the door again, quite unannounced as usual. The young Altmer was certain to have walked in as silently as possible. "I am back again! Did you hear, my parents decided not to call off my education anyway! They told me Skyrim has made me very mature, can you believe it?"

Sighing heavily, Caryndil looked up from his desk. Having been working almost tirelessly on stacks of paperwork, Naniriel had been the last visitor the old mer had expected. But, alas, here she was.

"Take a seat, then." Uttered the old mer curtly. Although she was, in truth, a good student, that did not prevent her from being annoying.

"No, I most certainly cannot believe it." The sarcasm was evident in Caryndil's voice, for he took the opportunity to savour this little pleasure. "I assume this means that you are to return to study under myself?"

Both Caryndil and Yceri are deeply interested in matters of the arcane, with Yceri leaning more towards the magic of the Gods and Caryndil more towards that of necromancy and the binding of Daedra.

For Caryndil, a box wrapped in light brown parchment with a simple, although elegant bow adorning the top of the package. Inside was an assortment of jars with different alchemical ingredients, imported from Auridon. She handed it to him with a cordial smile; her expression... pleasantly different from her usual one of mild annoyance. "I've not much experience, but my mother was... quite invested in alchemy. I supposed these may prove useful."

The winter was rarely enjoyable for Caryndil, but the worst part - for the old mer - was the incessant celebrations across the Old Life and New Life Festival periods. Having few, if any friends, the gift giving was quite lost on Caryndil.

But this? This was truly a surprise, one that actually managed to slightly melt the ice tomb that the old mer had built up around his heart. A genuinely warm, albeit small, smile lit up the half-breed face slightly.

"You shouldn't have, my dear." The feelings Caryndil was experiencing were unusual, and so his voice took on a note of confusion. "I am afraid I have not gotten you anything as of yet, but I shall do so for the New Life Festival."

A silent thanks was given that there were no other members of the Thalmor around, especially not any recruits or footsoldiers, because this situation would generate rumours of the damning sort.

"If I get out of this I'll kill you."

Caryndil glanced up at her from the desk he had requested to be moved to her prison chamber. The desk was for the half-breed's notes, as Caryndil had found Katja to be a useful tool in his experiments; the woman had often been subjected to test runs of agonising concoctions, which would of course be cured after a certain period of time. The Thalmor didn't want his test subject to expire, after all.

"Quaint," The mer muttered, returning his eyes and noting down a new blend that had crossed his mind. "I am beginning to lose count of the amount of times you have said something along such lines."

Spitting Teeth [for Caryndil omg I had to. Let's say she drank a pretty bad alchemy experiment that prevents her from controlling her actions. Sorryyy xD)

The blow sent the frail mer down to one knee, a large red mark quickly forming as the rest of his skin went black; she had already seen him change, so there was no harm in letting her know just how angry he was.

A bolt of lightning shot from Caryndil's palm, more a defensive instinct than an enraged attack, yet it still had force behind it.

"How dare you," the half-breed snarled, casting a small healing spell whilst gripping another bolt in his free hand, just in case Naniriel retaliated.

Glaring over his stack of books cradled like a child in his arms, the mer thought the idea of leaving books behind when unnecessary completely akin to blasphemy. 

"I brought this number of books for the sole reason of that I needed them. Who are you to question me, anyway?"

The old mer's main pet peeve is when others in the Thalmor, especially trainee Justiciars, do not take Alchemy seriously, instead thinking things such as combat skills more useful.
