Hey, everyone! Seems miss mod here had a bit of an oopsie regarding her own set deadline! The end of today was never supposed to be the deadline for submission of SS gifts, the fifth is! We're bringing Nitro on board to help manage and organize rsvps, but also, I'll need your wishlists in by today, tomorrow at the latest! I'll be sending out matchups by tomorrow, and those who get their giftee will need to know what gift to start working on, so please submit to us a short wishlist that we can post! Thank you!
If you don't get your wishlist in by the the ninth at the latest, please be sure to send us a heads up so we can notify your santa!

Hey everybody! There's about an hour and a half left to send in your rsvp to be part of this year's Secret Santa! Tomorrow morning I'll publish the rsvps I have left and get started randomly matching people to their Santas and their giftees. I'm going to need your wishlists in by the fifth! All of this will be updated on the masterlist of who's participating by the end of tomorrow as well.

hello, everyone! mod oo6/squeak here, and as promised, since i did not have time to roll out a proper secret santa last year as i wanted, with the success of our first secret valentine this year, i'm here with this year's on time secret santa! (and a largely recycled intro post, but there's a lot to type)!
for starters, please note that this is an independent project, and will no way be associated with the masterlist. it will be modded by me (for now), though if you'd like to apply to help me sort wishlists and publish them as they come in, just drop me an ask to this blog or a skype im if you have me!
for starters, what is a secret santa? it's a case of anonymous gift giving for the winter holidays. online, it can be art, ordered goodies (though you'd have to have consent from the other person involved to send them said goodies), written works such as drabbles or fanfiction, poetry, prose, song, ship graphics, whatever your heart desires, and whatever is in your means to create or give! since this is a group affiliated secret santa, i'd like to ask you to keep your wishlists limited under one simple set of parameters: make sure your wishlist is related to citta and your characters and story there!
starting today: november twenty-first (21/11) and ending december first (1/12) i will be taking sign up requests and wish lists much in the same way that we accept reserves and applications on the masterlist: you will send an ask rsvping for the event and your personal url will be placed on our wishlist page. from there, you'll go to our submit and send in a brief list of characters and prompts that you would like to receive a gift based on. we will publish this, and tag it with both your url as well as cas wishlist and link your username on the wishlist list to that post!
on december 2 (2/12), i will randomize the participants and assign everyone a partner, and from there i will send out asks to the participants telling them whose santa they will be. from there, you'll take that person's url, check the wishlist masterlist, and decide how you will create their gift from there.
the absolute final deadline for submission of a final project will be january fifth (5/1), though the real deadline will be christmas day (25/12)! if any issues come up, please drop us an ask, and we will let your recipient know that their gift may be a little late. a failure to come through with anything will result in expulsion from any user run events of this sort, though your recipient will not leave empty handed! i'll simply pick up the slack and cover the gift that you were unable to make.
so how will you submit your final piece? easy, the same way you submitted your wishlist! include somewhere in your submission who it is meant for and submit it to this blog by the deadline. you can also send it independently to your assigned recipient if you wish, but we'd like to be able to archive all of the goodies given out this year! the submission will be posted on christmas day (or later, if you have time troubles or aim for the later deadline) and tagged with your recipient's url.
