so begins day two of "hurry up and wait". early 5:30am start, thanks to the none existent curtains in my hotel and the bright and happy sun this morning. now it is time to smile and sweet talk my way onto a plane that has over 100 passengers and 97 seats. this is going to be fun isn't it. so grab a comfy seat and some popcorn. let's see where today takes us.
okay, now that i know just how far i can go before my fuse blows, we boarded just after 12 and are now flying to Vilanculos, refueling and then flying back down to Inhambane. Flying over the Inhambane area is probably one of the most stunning views. Ocean on one side. farm lands and villages on the other. walking into the airport really felt like i had never left. My lovely lift ladies are JO and Libby. Libby has been here 4 years now doing her thing with the mantas and Jo arrived last week as MMF's media guru. they showed me around, introduced me to all the guys from peri-peri scuba diving and Casa Barry and showed me my home for the next month. and what a home it is.
let's begin this adventure!
