when traveling to the Bay area, you need to stop by casa de fruta! on our way to San Jose last month, we stopped in casa de fruta on the way up and the way back. it's such a great spot to stop because there's something for everyone..
• places to eat a meal : the deli or restaurant • ice cream • snacks • fudge • fresh fruit • gifts • bathroom break! • carousel • mini train ride • life size engine and caboose for kids to play in [or photo ops 🤪] • enough area to walk around to walk off food and/or stretch your legs • a pond • might spot a peacock • wine tasting and much more that I'm probably forgetting. plus! plenty of photo ops
if you haven't been, add this to your pit stop list because you won't be disappointed!
ps: do be aware that this is a popular spot, so field trip buses with children do stop often so there are little ones running around.
