"You're making this so hard, Jax," it says casually, grabbing his ears and yanking his head up so their eyes lock. "I'll make it simple, okay?" It leans in closer, black blood oozing onto Jax's overalls.

Jax idly flicks at the edges of the photos, listening to the sound as they fall back into place. The notebook lays open beside him, pencil resting by its side. Noticeably, nothing else has been written in it yet.

I'm extremely proud of how this turned out, especially with the hallway being Like That.

To everyone that's read, enjoyed and created incredible fanworks based off it, I can't thank you all enough. It's been a pleasure working on this story, and it's taught me that I'm apparently better at writing horror than I thought I was, haha!

I don't think this is the last I'll draw from it, this fic still very much has a hold on me and it'd be a shame to stop now ✨
