Chalcedony
Freddie was eight when his nanny - the only mother he had ever really known, and the only source of love and affection in his life, other than Ollie - left him without ever saying goodbye, and to this day he can’t adequately articulate the devastation he felt.
Chalcopyrite
Is ‘not well’ too vague an answer? lol When Freddie’s relationships with both Elizabeth and Ruby ended, he dealt with the loss in fundamentally the same way he’s always dealt with loss and pain - he did his best to avoid it in every way that he could. With Elizabeth, this was made easier by the fact that she left Soapberry shortly after they broke up; but with Ruby, as they were still living together and things were much more complicated, avoidance of his feelings was very much harder to manage, and he ran away to stay with Iann in the immediate aftermath, hiding there until Ephram had had enough and brought him home again. But as he’s doing much better at acknowledging, confronting, and processing his feelings now (it’s a slow progression lol), and now that some time has passed, he’s very hopeful that he and Ruby can be part of each other’s lives as friends - which is indicative of some growth, I think.
Charoite
No-one, particularly. Freddie very much respects and admires a number of people, for a number of very different reasons, but, arrogant thing that he is, there’s no-one he would say he really ‘looks up’ to, or wants to emulate.
