I have a quick question that's been on my brain since they revealed Locus and Felix's faces: Is it easier for you to draw if you have a reference (i.e. the mercs now) or for you to draw face cannons (i.e. your Wash/Kimball/mercs before)? I love your art either way, I'm just super curious!!

umm... well it’s easier to draw if there is already made canon faces of course cause I know what they look like, but since I have been drawing my versions of the RvB ppl i am already used to how I draw them and can do it pretty fast now.

With the new reveal I have to practice and teach myself now how to draw their faces in my own hand so... it’s just learning again new characters. But still it is easier to draw my versions since I know what they look like. I am still learning/understanding how to translate the canon to my style... if that makes sense??
