This part of ‘How To Be A Normal Person’ broke me forever.
“How to be a Normal Person” by TJ Klune
Casey Richards from How to Be a Normal Person is asexual!
you know what just absolutely blows my mind about
it's that Casey gifts his friend Josie some indica tablets and some cbd/thc balm, then Josie shares the tablets with Xander and uses the balm on his feet
I just 🥺😭🥺😭🥺
and like
how do I explain
keep in mind, I think this book takes place in 2015 (ah what a different world) - so legalization hadn't come as far as it is today - and there is not a single neuro-typical character in this book.
so when I say Casey (asexual hipster who writes very popular ya vampire werewolf novels, recent migrant to Abby, OR) sends his friend Josie (sweetest cinnamon roll to ever roll, demisexual hipster who is an aspiring actor) tablets and balm, I mean to say:
Casey, an absolute fucking sweetheart that now lives in another state, sent you cannabis across state lines - and specifically sent balm that Josie (who works 3-5 jobs at any one time supporting his pursuance of an acting career) could put on his aching feet.
and like ;_;
they are best friends and they love each other so much. the way they ALL support each other is just so.. so GOOD. *happy sigh*
I wrote a little gus and casey fic
