It had become a somewhat repetitive ritual of theirs. Edmund would go out, get himself drunk in some bar and call Sergei mumbling and singing songs the Russian had never heard of. He didn't always ask the driver to pick him up. But Sergei always ended up by doing so. He had nearly dragged Ed to the car today. And once they got home, his home, he had had to yank the keys off of him before finally deciding to flip the man over his shoulder and carry him all the way to his room. Sergei knew the place by heart now, although only in poorly lit conditions. He didn't remember ever visiting Ed's home during the day. When finally reaching the bed, the Russian dropped the redhead over the mattress, watching his body bounce briefly. "Sleep. Drink water. Be sober." He said it slowly, pointing at the other man, is if there was a hidden threat behind his instructions. There wasn't.
kiss me, quick! (( i had to woops ))
19: A wound
Sergei didn’t hate Edmund. He didn’t even dislike him. Their personalities clashed and they often made fun of one another. Death threats were often thrown into the air, mostly from Sergei’s part. But even so, he didn’t think Ed to be a bad man. A bastard? Yes. A selfish bastard? No doubt. But not a bad man. Never a bad man. Just painfully human. The blood dripping from his nose proved it. There were wounds darkening against pale skin. And the Russian carried him in his arms, kicking the door shut behind him, groaning at the frustration of having a drunken hurt idiot to take care of. He tried to lay him down on the sofa as carefully as possible, collapsing on the floor next to the unconscious man who moaned gently, only to let the driver know he was still alive. It was easy for men like them to get into bar fights. Ed was probably used to it. But when Sergei had seen someone punching the Brit from across the bar, he nearly flew across the room. He broke their teeth. Got punched a couple of times. But he showed them. He showed them that men like Edmund weren’t alone. The bastards, the degenerate and the hopeless shouldn’t be alone. Sergei glanced at Ed’s swollen face. “You look like shit.” He mumbled. And when the other man continued to drift into a long drunken sleep, the driver simply gazed at him for a while before placing a small kiss on his swollen cheek. Sergei got up.Turned off the lights. And let Edmund sleep.
