I'll miss you, too, but we'll keep in touch.

My school is at the same place I'll be going to boot camp for, so I'll be at the Lake of the Ozarks for a couple of years. That means I'll be close enough to visit while I'm on leave instead of just disappearing after boot camp.

Ship Date: September 17, 2012

Service Time: 6 years active, 2 in reserves

The first two years will be spent in training and schooling for my field. Once I finish schooling, I will be promoted from the rank of E1 to the rank of E4.

Share a childhood memory:Hmm. On my first day of preschool, I remember walking in, seeing all of the other children, and promptly passing out. That's right, I've been antisocial and prone to panic attacks in crowds since I was six. :I

Share something about yourself others might think is weird:Um. If I like to do something (listen to music, play a repeatable game), I can and likely will keep doing it over and over until something else catches my attention. I just don't get bored with it.

Share the story of something that makes you smile:Well... (You would ask this on a day I'm in a terrible mood, wouldn't you?)... At the museum today, there was a slow-motion video of a group of people who were posing for a picture when two great gushes of high-speed water came at them from either side. Two men, the men who had been standing on the outside of the picture, stood and took the blast so that the others in the group wouldn't get hit as hard with the water.
