I wouldn't want you to choose between us. That just sounds awful. And I care about her feelings too. This is a difficult problem, and I won't feel guilty if you don't keep thinking it's your job to keep everyone happy. well remember the original agreement that we made before this even started. We were just on a 30-day netflix trial period.because we have to honor Emma's feelings. she is important in this relationship too. I know, I'm kind of half talking to myself so I don't forget it and so you guys don't forget it either. I feel like an intruder on your perfect relationship with Emma. Like you guys had your flaws, but you were happy. Then I came along and I feel like you guys were unhappy.
She's been the most important thing in my life for going on two years. I will not forget. You just don't forget that we're all equally important right now. Which means don't feel guilty. Your emotions are relevant. And needed. <---Where I disagree. I liked where he was going with that. That's how I feel about it. It was our relationship first. Just because you fell in love with him in like 12 minutes doesn't mean that I need or want to deal with the drama that comes out of it, or have him upset or you upset. I don't want to blame you because I know it's not your fault. You have feelings for more than one person. And millions of people have had this problem before, and they've all dealt. You have to pick one. I know that's hard, impossible, too difficult to imagine. But it needs to happen. Because I don't want to be in a relationship that's unfair to me, or you, or him. He should deserve your full attention, OR I should. It'snot fair to either of us to make us get less than what we deserve. I understand that you love both of us. I get that. But you've 'loved' him for about 2 weeks. I don't really think it's the same thing, and I don't think it's comparable. If you love me as much as you say you do, and as much as I think you do, then it's very different indeed. What it really seems like to me is that you want to be close friends with him, that's all that's really changed, insofar that I know. So be friends with him! But don't make me deal with this emotional bullshit. And it's selfish of me, but you know what? I'm 50% of OUR relationship which is a whole fucking lot. How would you feel if you didn't have him, we hadn't mentioned polyamorous, anything, and I said, 'Oh, by the way, I have these really strong feelings for _____(Emma, Anna, Grace, Brandon, Zach, Becca, whothefuckever) and I want to be with them and you.' You'd be motherfucking pissed. You wouldn't even give it a trial period. I'd be in trouble for days. And if you did agree, how long would you be okay with it for? No time at all. You'd get upset when I talked to you, but texted them while we were together. You'd be mad if I chose to hang out with them. You'd get angry if I didn't talk to you, but them instead. If we were all together and I ignored you and stayed next to them the whole night. You'd be upset if every event we, you and I, did together would also include this third person. You'd hate it. And I hate it.
