Yo! You can call me uhhhh… mod Casper? I guess that works. Anyway, remember this post? Well, this is the outcome! Ask these lil guys anything — within reason. I’m not the best with image descriptions, but I’ll do my best to add them. Apologies if i forget or if they arent accurate.

Heart is in Soul’s role (host/mediator), Soul is in Mind’s role (basically a persecutor), and Mind is in Heart’s role (i don’t know how to describe this one, he’s just a lot more emotional and annoying). This is probably all gonna be traditional art, and their designs will be the tiniest bit inconsistent, but I’ll keep em pretty recognizable! Also, art isn’t guaranteed for every ask, but I’ll do my best!

Long Time No See

Or, well, write. I’m sorry for how utterly dead this blog has been, gang, and I suppose it’s no surprise that the recent news drop is what it took to jolt me back into awareness. In all honesty, I kind of burnt myself out. I was trying to work a customer service job during covid, read RoW, and compile my reactions--and I couldn’t do all of them, so the reactions died so I could finish the book. Which I loved, but then I felt bad about not finishing my liveblog, and, well, one thing led to another. That said, I am planning on waking this back up, getting back into the swing of things here, gearing up for 2023--because of course I’m going to be trying to work with the Year of Sanderson. I’m going to figure out how to tag things to prolong the surprise for people who want to keep it, as well--if anyone has suggestions, please let me know. Will I ever get to liveblogging the rest of RoW? I don’t know. I might do a stormlight reread to gear up for stormlight 5, when it comes out, and in that case I’d touch on it, but I don’t see it happening in the near future at the moment.

If anyone is still following here, though, thanks for your continued interest, and i look forward to talking to yall about everything coming! To start out with, what the fuck, Brandon?!?

What made you decide on your URL name?

What made you decide on your blog title

Well for the url I was trying to think of one that worked for all three. Beyond the dash icon this blog is like the url. A sum of their parts. I try to keep it as equal for all three muses. I don’t really know how I got the idea or were the thought came from but I remembered this saying. ‘You are greater then the sum of your parts’ and just kinda went from there. It works perfectly in my opinion.

Like with the url, I try and find something that works for all three. In the case of the title, ‘I feel like giving up but it isn't in my blood.’ It’s adjusted lyrics from In My Blood by Shawn Mendes. It’s a nice song and it reminds me so much of all three of them. Despite all the shit they have to go through. The wait of the world, the need to protect, the fear of failure, they don’t give up. Not even death in Connor’s case. As if it’s not in their blood so to speak.
