Is anyone of the groups a vegetarian and if so how does their particular groups handle the situation
Ady is a vegan and Cassius is a vegetarian.
Ady is a vegan just because she can’t handle the thought of harming a cute animal and finds the meat/food industry in America to be needlessly cruel, though she’ll never judge or force anyone to live her life style. The Birds(and Vipers since they’re just as much family in her eyes) don’t really do anything special outside of the norm of making sure there’s food available to her.
Cassius’ vegetarianism is all due to where he grew up and the knowledge that if the fates had been a little less kind he would have been killed and eaten years ago. He found out pretty quickly once he knew he was safe that even the smell of cooking meat(especially fatty meats) made him nauseous and panicked. The Swarm is aware of his hang ups and makes sure to warn him when cooking meats and always makes sure they make a meal for him at cookouts and the like.
