I like this poster because it kinda mirrors main characters and villains of Hercules series just in the way I make parallels between them.

Hercules and Hades are obvious, they are main hero main - villain, relatives, gods. And then here are their sidekicks, and it's so funny to me, the way they stare at each other like they're about to fight one on one each. But it also showed me how two duos mirror each other (partly my headcanons and how I see them): I find both Panic and Icarus to be these more dreamy, compassionate and sympathizing (for Panic it's mostly shown in Underworld Takeover, Spring of Canathus and other minor events in show), and also being more emotional and easy to turn to panic when situation goes wrong. And both tied more to teal/blue color. As for Pain and Cassandra, I find them both being the more apathetic ones, more likely to make sarcastic remarks, less emotional or enthusiastic. Idk how to describe it, it's like "if you seen them both, you know". And they have purple/pink colors, as well as some design features I find similar. I even headcanon that in Spring of Canathus Panic so easily agreed to team up with Cassandra because he needs someone like Pain by his side, and that was the closest substitute.

At this point I wonder why we never had a moment, where P&P would disguise themselves as Icarus and Cassandra (they rarely do existing characters in general, one I can recall was Hercules in crossover episode with Aladdin). So I imagine something like this:

A romantic moodboard of Cassandra x Panic (Cassanic).

I made this moodboard because I adore these two, and I've been secretly shipping them ever since I watched the reruns of Hercules: The Animated Series on Toon Disney back in the early 2000s when I was a child.

But I recently just watched the episode, Hercules and the Spring of Canathus, and boy do they have wonderful chemistry! They make such good parents together! I'm really tempted to make a post analyzing Panic and Cassandra's interactions in that episode because, in the words of Panic, “I think they were a great couple~”

But anyway, I've always been a sucker for interspecies relationships and girlboss x malewife dynamics, so this ship is right up my alley.

(They also remind me of my Mèrida x Randall ship.) 😳👉👈

Disney execs: OK, we got a concept for a TV series based off one of our movies with some new characters for the heroes to interact with.

Disney execs: One of the new characters is going to be the main character's closest female friend. She's grumpy and cynical, with the ability to go absolutely batshit feral if need be, and has ties to the main character's family.

Disney execs: What should we call her?
