I'm late as always, but I didn't want to drop this idea, so here's my little contribution for the mermay.

Even last year when I binged "H2O. Just add water" I thought main characters had an interesting dynamic which is somewhat something I see in my fav trio: Pain, Panic and Meg (I rarely post all three of them but in my head they are best buddies (or, in human au, Pain and Meg are half-siblings, but that's mostly my weird craving, might elaborate on it later)). And it was perfect for this mermay, but I unfortunately got to it too late.

Didn't think it through much, so I just put the Hades trio on according places: Pain as Rikky (because both are my favs, no big surprise here I guess) with the rebellious character and fire/heating powers, and then Panic and Meg were a tough choice because they can fit both roles (Emma is more reserved and often considered "emotionless" which could've fit Meg, and Cleo is emotional and sentimental which I see in Panic a lot) but my Pain-Panic duo dynamic and color assignment won, so Panic took Emma's place with ice powers and Meg took Cleo's with, I guess she has levitation or water manipulation powers??

I made some changes with the look of them transformed into mermaids (and mermen). The original has all girls in same goldfish tail "outfit", but I wanted to assign them different sea creatures (which I also had received an ask message long time ago). So Pain is a shark, Meg is a lionfish, and I wanted to make Panic an eel but then thought his imp form reminds me of a swordfish/marlin more.

And I just had to draw one of my favorite scenes with Rikki, I just love her sarcastic moments and like to imagine Pain as such a guy in the group. Does it make sense? Probably not. But I receive great joy from it. So yeah, since Meg here is Cleo, Hercules would be Lewis accordingly.

And some previous mermay ask. I used some ideas from here, as you can see, but I'll also come back to it at some point, I like the Hades and Neurosis ideas

Preparing a very late post, and I just want to apologize. I keep reading the messages in the ask box that I rarely answer to, and I make sure to read them all, but they are all kept there stored because I really want to draw all the ideas (and not just 5 min sketches but full rendered or at least colored art). I want it to be beautiful for my personal satisfaction, for other people to admire, but I just can't sit at them or put my mind to it. And I always feel so inspired but get artblocked or want to improve my skill first. I have so many asks about Hercules art ideas and headcanons, and also so many other fandoms I am or was in. And then I also have a stash of my own ideas that I think "would better look as a full comic, or a well-rendered art piece, or that, or that". I may need to just start writing my thoughts here in text form, I feel, otherwise I will never be able to share them. Aaaa, idk, it feels a bit embarrassing

I've been thinking about watching Hercules on a DVD at our dacha/countryside house when I was a kid. It was set on a two voices russian dub, only normal dub I always saw was on TV when it was running. But I think there should be an option to switch to the English audio, and now I wish we kept the disk, maybe it's still there somewhere

I haven't watched DVDs or TV in general in forever, but that would be something I'd like to watch. And I think I had Tinkerbell movies as well 😳

I've had an idea of a plot where Gantu gets changed to human size by Shrink (an experiment that I believe wasn't properly introduced in the show but had an episode in the anime, so it feels fair to use) and he and Devi....work certain things out since it's such rare opportunity

But now I feel everyone will think I just messed up their height again :')
