“THIS IS THE SIN POLICE OPEN UP!”
This was never a life Allison would have imagined for herself, not even after discovering the truth of her family’s legacy. Being a lone hunter was an isolating experience, especially when one’s code differed so greatly from those of the hunter families that generally took on the role. But she’d made her choice, and she wasn’t going to back away from it just because she was lonely. Shaking off those thoughts she refocused on the gloomy city around her, bow slung across her back in favor of a pair of silver-edged ring daggers that were better for urban environments like this. She’d been tracking this particular alpha for a couple of months now and had followed him to the shadowed streets of Gotham with some trepidation. After all, the city had a bit of a reputation. Her duty couldn’t be avoided though and so she stalked the streets on the night of a full moon, dark eyes catching every little movement with a hint of silver reflected in their depths as she followed rumors of a bestial human attacking people in this area.

Under normal circumstances, given... everything, that has happened to the family, recently, he would have followed Bruce’s orders to the letter, and those orders included Cassandra not being allowed out on patrol under any circumstance. However, he remembers being the subject of this very same rule as well, after his demise, and he’d be damned if he enforced it. Especially after everything that happened, Damian would think that Cassandra needs to get out on her feet.
Out of uniform, he knocked at the door, waiting for a response. If she didn’t want to go, then Damian wouldn’t force her. Nothing more to talk about in that case. However, after the trial, and the death of Basil... Damian had a gut feeling she would want to get moving again.
“Cassandra. Do you have a moment?” He makes a point not to act aggressively again.
The Dark
@cassandracainorphan liked for a Nightmare starter
The living situation has been going pretty well. He doesn’t bother you if you don’t want to be bothered, but he’s there if you need him. Stealing to survive, occasionally kicking ass if someone innocent is being harassed in a big way. Remy doesn’t take kindly to those who prey violently.
One of the odd things about the situation is that every now and then, a sound or two comes from the mattress he sleeps on. Not the squeak of old springs, no. A groan or a small cry, but they always fade.
Tonight he shot up from his bed, as if people had been holding him down and he was breaking free. Blood red eyes are open wide, looking around for a moment until he realizes where he is. Then he starts shaking, staggers to grab a cigarette, and lights it.

Applause, applause- no wait, wait...
Alarms. That’s it. Not applause. Viktor presses his palms to his ears, stumbling down some empty back alleyway. He’s not sure where he is, or why he is where he is. All he knows is that he’s out of that place, glad for it, and hungry as hell. Not only for food, but blood. They don’t exactly just give someone who claims to be a vampire blood. They just keep telling him it’s a delusion brought on by his schizophrenia. Which generally he just. Doesn’t quite understand.
He stumbles a few alleys down, wandering wandering wandering until he finds someone. Or someone finds him. A larger man holding a knife and probably meaning to mug the poor kid. After all, he looks young and vulnerable. Viktor just smiles and waves at him before getting stabbed in the gut. His reaction to this is not to scream, but to grab the man and pull him down. The escapee’s fangs sink into his would-be-mugger’s throat.
Next thing he knows, he’s in yet another alleyway. A knife still in his stomach making it rather hard to breathe, but he’s not quite dying. It hurts, sure, but it takes more than that to kill a vampire his age. He’s still.. Dazed. Staring up at the night sky, hearing sirens go by. He vaguely remembers running. Lots of it. Vaguely remembers his meal, he can still taste lemon meringue on his tongue. Though, there was something off about his food. Great, the guy was a druggie. That never ends well, but at least he’s used to hallucinations...
“Shhh. Mom can we adopt Cassandra?”
“What the fuck is wrong with both of you?”
