I’ve decided that, for my own mental health, I am going to become sickeningly positive about everything. Anything that happens can be a good thing if I look at it with the right attitude. Have to go to urgent care? Fantastic, I actually love hospitals and of course the thing I get to go there for is one of the easiest medical problems to cure. Plus, I got some free time to work on my writing! Missed going to Michaels yesterday cause it closed? That’s perfect, because now if I go today I can wander the aisles instead of rushing to grab what I need and get out in time. All this time I’ve been so negative about anything and for what? Because it’s cool? To be edgy and broody and pessimistic? That’s just what the depression wants! Too bad for it, though, because I’ve never cared what other people think of me and I don’t plan on starting now! If being annoyingly optimistic is what I need to start feeling happy again then by god is that a solution that I can implement with very little time, effort, or money spent! Edge lord Cassandra is OUT, sunshine and rainbows Cassandra is IN.

putting myself to bed is literally like parenting a child because I’ll tuck myself in and get comfy and then my brain is like you know what would be fun….watching that silly video of my favorite guy. and then my other brain is like no, you CANT watch the silly video of your favorite guy because then you’re going to get too riled up and we’re never going to get to sleep. and my brain is like I WANT SILLY VIDEO and my other brain has to be like fine, you can watch the silly video ONE time and THEN you have to go to sleep, and if your heart rate spikes and we don’t get to sleep until two in the morning because youre too busy thinking about Characters then that will be YOUR FAULT little missy. and then that’s exactly what happens.
