I’ve decided that, for my own mental health, I am going to become sickeningly positive about everything. Anything that happens can be a good thing if I look at it with the right attitude. Have to go to urgent care? Fantastic, I actually love hospitals and of course the thing I get to go there for is one of the easiest medical problems to cure. Plus, I got some free time to work on my writing! Missed going to Michaels yesterday cause it closed? That’s perfect, because now if I go today I can wander the aisles instead of rushing to grab what I need and get out in time. All this time I’ve been so negative about anything and for what? Because it’s cool? To be edgy and broody and pessimistic? That’s just what the depression wants! Too bad for it, though, because I’ve never cared what other people think of me and I don’t plan on starting now! If being annoyingly optimistic is what I need to start feeling happy again then by god is that a solution that I can implement with very little time, effort, or money spent! Edge lord Cassandra is OUT, sunshine and rainbows Cassandra is IN.

Do you have a lot of fans?

Fans? I don’t believe I would use the word “fans”, per say. I am certain there are individuals who look up to me, or perhaps see me as someone they would like to mirror, but I would not consider them “fans”. The word makes me feel far too much as though I am some type of travelling performer, or perhaps a well known author, or artist.

No, what I do is not for the purpose of entertainment, nor should my cause be taken lightly. Does a veteran warrior gain simply fans? No! They gain allies! Individuals willing to fight by their side, defend their beliefs! While there may be a few individuals here and there that hold a liking towards me simply because of my skill, I like to think that my stance, my position, and my work, draw in a crowd of like-minded individuals, not interested in merely fanaticism, but in replicating what they witness and integrating these ideals into their everday lives. Men and mer that believe, deep down, that what I am saying is true, and wish to aid me in shaping the face of magic in Tamriel.

I suppose, what I am saying, is that I would like to give those who follow my work a little more credit than labeling them simply as “fans”.
