Lucinda gently organized the dresses she’d taken with her in her closet. Muggles required servants, which they treated terribly, but she could live in the same luxury with just her wand. Still, she loved to look at her dresses as she slowly smoothed the silk and cotton. Even the more casual items for dirtier learning were still beautiful. And she’d never admit that she’d embroidered them herself. Especially the green one with silver snakes, vipers like her Patronus.
She heard the door open and stepped back quickly, “Hello, I didn’t hear you knock. Can I help you?”
