Okay so, I feel like this story holds more weight/makes more sense if you’ve seen my manifesting video. Most of you haven’t, so go watch that here, then come back and keep reading :)

Right so in the video I talk about Teresa Palmer, who initially introduced me to manifesting all those years ago, and her website/webseries ‘Your Zen Life’ which has totally shaped me spiritually and personally. I don’t quite go into detail in the clip, but this is someone/something I’ve been passionate about for a very long time, almost like admiring Tavi and Rookie. In the video, Jen also challenged me to manifest that I would influence someone well known.

Tonight, I arrived home from my game to find that I had an email, asking if I would like to guest write a post for YZL :)

I just stood in disbelief and refreshed it and felt confused and very happy.

This is someone I’ve admired and had huge amounts of respect for, for years, and a website about Mind, Body, Spirit wellness… ah it’s just incredible that they would want little old me to contribute to something so special. I feel over the moon.

1. If you were going to take a gap year, what would you do and where would you go?

I'd like to volunteer somewhere - maybe Borneo with the orang-utans or maybe somewhere in Africa. This is something that has only recently become appealing to me, but I'm keen to do it one day.

2. Is there something (book, food, movie, fashion, etc) that everyone else seems to love that you can’t stand?

I'm not a fan of The Notebook...

3. If you had to dress like one decade (20s-90s) for the rest of your life, which would you choose?

50s. 

4. What Christmas traditions do you have?

My only Christmas tradition is that I don't celebrate Christmas.

5. Do you want children, if so, how many?

I chop and change my mind on this all the time. Sometimes I desperately want kids. Other times I am 100% certain that I don't want kids. But if I do have kids, I think 2 is a good number (but it is open for negotiation).

6. What was your first ever job?

My first ever job was as a junk mail distributor - I hated it. Then I got a job at Kmart.

7. If you had to do one year of unpaid charity work, what would you do?

Some kind of animal conservation.

8. Cats or dogs?

Dogs. Always.

9. Favourite clothing shop?

I don't really have one. No single shop that carries plus size clothing caters to my every need. Although I am a fan of best and less for my workout gear at the moment...

10. What is your favourite movie to watch at Christmas time?

As above, I don't do Christmas, so nothing Christmas related. (Unless you count Die Hard??)

11. What is your favourite Christmas song?
