Today we're going to talk about Spirit World
Spirit World is a story that focuses on Xanthe Zhou, a nonbinary Chinese hero with the ability to travel between the land of the living and the land of the dead, colloquially known as the Spirit World. In the official comic collection it covers the story from Lazarus Planet: Dark Fate and Spirit World #1-6, wherein during a fight with an entity known as a Collective Cass was caught and dragged into the Spirit World. The pathway that connected the land of the living with the land of the dead was severed, and Cass was trapped.
Below the cut will contain spoilers from the comic, so proceed with care accordingly.
Let's talk lanterns!
The Spring Lantern Festival marks the end of Chinese New Year celebrations and the first full moon of the Lunar New Year. Lanterns represent a number of things, from peace and reconciliation, to unity and family, and also prosperous beginnings for the new year.
The festival in Hong Kong consists of several events and activities:
Lantern Displays; For an entire month displays are lit and the public get to roam and enjoy the sights. These lanterns are very colorful and take on many shapes and sizes. Themes vary from year to year, but there is a good chance you can find auspicious such as goldfish and pomegranates, and even zodiac animals.
Lantern Carnival; This includes things such as musical performances, acrobatics, folk song and dances, dragon parades and lion dances!
Lantern Lighting; Some Lanterns will contain riddles with words of wisdom or fortunes for festival goers to try and solve. For some the ambiance of all the colorful lights feels quite romantic, and some have also referenced the atmosphere as similar to Valentine's Day.
We hope today's little blurb has inspired everyone! 'Til next time!

Prompts are upon us!
Today prompts are released, and on June 6th our weekend event will begin! Our prompts are based on three themes: Location - Activity - Lyrics. Included below will be a text version of the prompts along with a link provided to the songs the lyric portions are pulled from. (Special thank you to @die-erlkonigin6083 for helping with the prompt images!)
We'll be releasing some more teasers intermittently throughout the month, but until then have fun with preparations and don't hesitate to drop an ask if you have questions. We can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

What about Historical Sites?
Today we're going to take a dive into the potential of historical sites, starting with the Infi-Map!
The Infi-map is a near-complete map of the Ghost Zone, including all of the natural and man-made/artificial portals that connect it to Earth taking it's user to the human realm or Ghost Zone, but some portals also lead to different places in time. An object of legend, the Infi-map is said to be able to lead a person to their destiny. Anyone can get into and out of the Ghost Zone with it. It also serve as an address book/map "for a bazillion ghosts". The map also changes as the Ghost Zone changes.

Some notable locations that Team Phantom have traveled to:
Salem, Massachusetts 1600's (this is also where Blood Blossoms were introduced.)
The Colosseum in Rome
China, possibly during the Wanli Era due to Vlad terrorizing Ming Monks, which could be a reference to The Four Eminent Monks
No location was given when Vlad tried to sabotage the Wright Brothers' test flight, but the year they appeared in was 1903, which could have placed them at Kill Devil Hills, where they were testing powered flight.
Of course this isn't to say that the Infi-Map is the end all be all for possibilities regarding the prompt Historical Sites. Historical aus, other time travel shenanigans, even modern encounters will count-- The sky is the limit!
There's less than two weeks before the event launches! See you then!
